Operation Popcorn Campaign
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire Scouting Community for their support of the Operation Popcorn Campaign.
Thanks to the efforts of thousands of Scouts and their families across the country over 300 tons of Trail's End Popcorn has been shipped to the men and women serving their country and their families.
The “Operation Popcorn” public relations efforts have been a success as well, with nearly 300 placements to-date, and approximately 7 million media impressions. Major placements include
DallasNews.com (online home of the Dallas Morning News);
Forbes.com; Reuters (wire service);
LATimes.com, the Cincinnati Enquirer, and
Chron.com. In addition, Teen Kids News ran the story on network affiliates all across the country, in virtually every major market.
