Venture Leader Specific Training
This essential course, a follow-up to
New Leader Essentials, is phase two of a new Venturing leader's
introduction to the Boy Scouts of America and to the
responsibilities, opportunities and resources that ensure a
successful Crew leadership experience. This training is designed to
introduce adult leaders to the basic information needed to operate a
Venturing Crew. Course topics include:
Introduction To
Venturing
Understanding and
Protecting Youth
Leadership and
Organization
Awards and
Recognition
Resources and
Program Planning
The course is presented in two evening sessions.
Venturing Leader Fast Start and
New Leader Essentials should be completed prior to enrolling in
